I helped create Newgrounds. Then I left. Then I came back. Then I left again. It's like that movie "Runaway Bride", but with fewer movie stars and more computer programming.

It's so big...

Posted by Ross Jul. 26, 2007 @ 3:36 PM EDT

... meaning Comic-Con, of course. It's way bigger than I ever imagined - more people, more booths, more stuff to buy, etc. It's overwhelming. And, being a good geek, I've bought a bunch of comics & t-shirts already.

If anyone's coming by the Newgrounds booth, bring your DS! I need entertainment! (Afro-Ninja kicked my butt in Tetris earlier.)

Since I couldn't get out to it this year, I instead dispatched a spy to the physical location of Newgrounds/Behemoth armed with prefab inside jokes.

I hear the Chaos! Comics booth will be back this time around, which is another I would have hit aside from NG.

Shawn's a cold blooded killer on those DS's...

What shirts did you buy?

Jul. 27, 2007 | 10:59 PM Ross responds:

Some classic Marvel (60s/70s) t-shirts. I'm a sucker for those.

It was great meeting you on Thursday. Thanks for posing for a pic and signing my autograph book. I have a question, though. You were wearing a grey NG shirt, but I didn't see them for sale at the booth, nor here on the site. Where did you get it?

Jul. 30, 2007 | 1:07 PM Ross responds:

Nice meeting you too. Not sure about the shirt - PM Tom or Bob and they should be able to let you know its status. There are always a million different shirt designs and/or variations floating around.

Jul. 31, 2007 | 10:58 AM Ross responds:

Yes, it's in San Diego every year.

I'll run down the stuff I got in another post - it's a long list. :)
